Lusaka street explores Zambia's photographic history through the work of Alick Phiri, one of the few black photographers active ffrom the 1960s to 1990s. Trained at Photo Art Studios, Phiri's archive reveals everday life in Lusaka and self-representation of Black Zambians, highlighting photography's power to reimagine the past and interpret the present.
